Hi everyone! My name is April and I'm the maker behind FUZZY FIBERZ. I'm a crochet/knitwear designer + indie yarn dyer based out of the lower Hudson Valley in NY. I'm a wife and mom. I first learned to crochet when I was a young girl and did it off and on for around 10 years, but when I turned 21 (after having my daughter) my love for crochet turned to design. I wanted her to have those special things that couldn't be bought from a store. So, I started to make her hats. Eventually, I created my very first pattern. I ran a photo prop/crochet pattern shop for a few years, but got bored of the repetitive making and decided to move on. Through the years, I taught myself to dye fiber and spin my own yarn. I recently began to design garment patterns and dye yarn again. I also taught myself to knit! I'm SO incredibly excited to step into the fashion + design side of the fiber world. I can't wait to see what the future holds.
